Selling a car in Japan requires several documents, but don’t worry — we’ll guide you through everything, including where to get them and how to fill them out.
If you’re not confident with Japanese, we’ll explain everything in English. - STEP3Vehicle Pickup and Same-Day Payment
Once the documents are ready, our staff will come to pick up your car.
You’ll sign the paperwork at the time of pickup, and the full payment will be transferred to your bank account on the same day. - STEP4If Your Car Still Has a Loan
You can sell a car that was financed through a loan, but the loan must be fully paid off before the sale.
If the “owner” listed on the registration is your dealership or loan company, ownership must be transferred to you first — which requires completing the loan.If you’re not sure, just send us a photo of your registration document, and our staff will check and guide you through the process.
